Chef Shiki was born in France and cooking is a family affair. Half-Japanese, Half French, she took the best from both cuisines with a passion for French pastry. After owning a tea salon in South of France, she decided to open her own French coffee shop in Carlsbad, CA where she delights her customers with Parisian macarons, Croissants, Madeleines, Tarte Tatin, Chocolate fondant, and her famous lemon meringue pie.
